Email clients and delivery tracking
Send quotes and invoices directly to your client's inbox from Quotimiser instead of attaching PDFs yourself. When delivery tracking is active, you can see whether the message was delivered or opened.
Sending a quote
Open the quote detail page. Add a client email on the quote if it is not already there. Use Email client (or Resend to client for quotes already marked sent). The quote moves to sent with a sent timestamp, similar to marking it sent manually.
Email is available for draft and sent quotes; other statuses may not show the send action.
Sending an invoice
On the invoice detail page, use Email client when a client email is present. For staged jobs,Request next instalment sends the invoice email and focuses the portal on the instalment you selected.
Delivery status on the detail page
After sending, a Client email panel may show status such as:
- Sending… — queued or in progress
- Sent — handed off to the mail provider
- Delivered to inbox — provider confirmed delivery
- Opened by client — the client opened the message (when tracking is available)
- Failed or Bounced — check the client email address or try again
Outbound client emails show your business name in the From display where configured. System emails from Quotimiser use the Quotimiser name.
From name and branding
PDFs attached to emails follow your quote or invoice PDF settings. Pro users can include a logo and terms and conditions on PDFs via Settings → Business.
