Welcome and first steps
Quotimiser helps you build quotes that reflect real costs — labour, materials, travel, tools, and a share of your business overheads — then turn accepted work into invoices. Everything is designed for tradespeople who want clear numbers, not guesswork.
Suggested first-time setup
- Complete your account — register, sign in, and verify your email (required before you can create quotes or invoices).
- Business details — open Settings and fill in your business tab so documents show the right name and address.
- Overheads — open Overheads and enter annual insurance, time off, VAT, and default markups.
- Libraries (optional) — add clients and quote presets (materials, labour, tool hire, vehicles) you use often.
- First quote — use New quote from the dashboard or Quotes.
- Compliance certificates (optional) — if you issue gas or electrical paperwork, open Certificates after you accept the legal notice and complete the certificate forms for your trade.
Where to find things
- Dashboard — snapshot of quotes, invoices, and usage.
- Quotes / Invoices — lists, detail pages, and create flows.
- Certificates — compliance records, compliance-by-property renewals, and custom templates.
- Overheads — annual business costs and default markups.
- Clients — saved customers; Presets — materials, labour, tool hire, and vehicles (sidebar).
- Settings — profile, business branding, security, subscription.
