Payment schedule presets

Payment schedules stores reusable templates — for example a 30% deposit and 70% on completion — so you do not rebuild the same stages on every quote.

Creating a preset

Add a name and one or more stages. Each stage has a label and either a fixed amount (£) or a percentage of the quote or invoice total. Percentages on all stages should add up to 100% where you use percentages only.

Plan limits

Free accounts can save a small number of presets; Pro allows more. The page shows how many slots you have left.

Using a preset on a quote

On the quote Review step, choose a payment schedule preset or define custom stages for that job only. You can control whether stages appear on the PDF and whether amounts are based on subtotal (ex VAT) or grand total (inc VAT).

On invoices

When you convert a quote with a schedule, staged payment information can carry through. The invoice portal and Open Banking use those stages when collecting payment — see Open Banking and payments.
