Client portals for quotes and invoices

Client portals let your customers open a secure link in their browser — no Quotimiser account required. You share the link from the quote or invoice detail page after the document exists.

Quote portal

On a quote detail page, the Client portal link card shows the URL. Use Copy link to paste it into a text, email, or message.

Clients can typically:

• View the quote summary and download the PDF
• Accept or decline the quote when it is in a state that allows a response

When you email the quote from Quotimiser, the message can include the portal link. Marking a quote as sent or using Email client updates the sent status and timestamp.

Invoice portal

Invoice portals show the invoice total, payment status, and how much is still due. If you have configured bank transfer details and/or Open Banking, the client can pay from the portal — see Open Banking and payments.

For jobs with staged payments, the portal usually guides the client through instalments in order (deposit first, then later stages). You can request payment for a specific instalment from the invoice detail page, which highlights that stage on the portal when the client opens the link.

Privacy and security

Each link contains a long random token. Treat portal URLs like passwords — only send them to the intended client. If a link may have been shared widely, create a fresh invoice or contact support for guidance.
